Queen Anne’s lace

Queen Anne’s lace (Daucus carota):

Prettier from below than from on top, Queen Anne’s lace is a common, white-flowered waste and field plant. It is, in fact, the common carrot gone wild. It is a biennial herb which means the plant lasts two year. On the second year the ‘carrot’ develops into a barely edible root.
