Land Snail

Land Snail Land Snail 2

Land snail:

A land snail is any of the numerous different types of snails that live on land. Snails are mollusks and have shells. The shell is formed in the larval stage and grows with the snail. If there are cracks in the shell, the snail can repair it over time as long as there isn’t too much damage. Snails are all over the world and come in a vast array of sizes. The largest are Giant African Snails which can be up to 12 inches in size. No matter the size or shape of the snail, they all have a spiral designed shell. Snails are eaten by a large variety of animals, even other snails. Other animals such as beetles, rodents, reptiles, amphibians, and birds consume snails as well.
