Thank you to all those who attended our event, you are the ones who made it special. A big shout out to all our speakers and exhibitors who shared inspiring and heartfelt stories about past addiction. There was also a lot of talk surrounding resources available to help individuals and families in need. We wanted to take a second to share the kind words of Norfolk County Sherriff’s office who attended our event.

Pleased to be part of an excellent program, hosted by the New England Wildlife Center in Weymouth, on the opiate drug addiction crisis. Speakers addressed the progress we have made and the great challenges that remain. Pictured here (left-to-right) are Weymouth Police Department Sgt. James St. Croix; Massachusetts Bar Association President Robert Harnais; Judge Marybeth Heffernan, presiding justice of the Newton and Quincy Drug Courts; Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey; wildlife center Executive Director Katrina Bergman; Greg Mertz, CEO of the wildlife center, Meghann Perry, a recovering addict who spoke about her journey back to health; and Sheriff Michael Bellotti.
